The official opening of the Samnani Early Childhood Development Center Koena village in Bukedea District

You are all welcome to join us in Koena village on Thursday 27th February at 10am for the official opening of the Samnani Early Childhood Development Center. We built this facility to improve the quality of education of the children from the local communities in and around Koena village in Bukedea District. It was established with the help of Rotary, the Institute of Rural Education and Development -IREAD (an International NGO based in Canada) and the Wilson Angura Okello Foundation -WAO (my father’s foundation). We are also working with a Community based organization called Koena United Poverty Eradication Initiative (KUPEI), the Rotary club of Kampala Day Break and the Rotary Club of Bukedea. The center started operating on 3rd February 2020 and has todate enrolled over 170 pupils between the ages of 3 and 6 years. You are all welcome. Let’s change lives, one at a time. Come one, come all.
